a gem of a stay

The front garden was attractive. It set a nice tone. our room, the one-bedroom apartment, had tasteful decorations and felt very clean. we particularly appreciated the sofa bed already made up in the living room. breakfast was excellent. I especially liked the fresh ingredients.
My only slight issue was a minor delay at check-in. It was resolved quickly though.

The hotel offers complimentary wi-fi throughout the hotel. The signal strength was consistent. there is ample parking space available . I never had trouble finding a spot. the reception area is well-kept.

Breakfast includes options like fresh fruit, pastries, and cooked-to-order eggs. the dining area has large windows. These provide plenty of natural light and views of the garden. coffee and tea are available throughout the day.

natalia offered a warm welcome. she provided a full overview of the facilities. the room was clean. parking was available on site.
breakfast was simple. i missed having bacon with my full english.

free parking was a definite plus.
I found the lack of body wash or shampoo quite inconvenient. the quality of hand soap seemed questionable too. It was to be everyday soap in molton brown containers. requesting a poached egg during breakfast was not possible. It was not on offer.

i was at the back of the hotel in a seemingly underground extension. there was no complimentary shampoo in the bathroom.
